Thoughts from the Fringe
Anna Cetti of Teatro del Parpadeo performing 'An Imaginary History of Tango' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011 photographed by Justin Ehrlich
An Imaginary History of Tango drags us through seedy discos and intellectual doldrums on our way to redemption through the senses. Anna's passion for tango is inspiring, and if she returns to the Fringe next year, I would like to see significantly more of the story told without words, because the sequences of dance/mime were the most effective episodes of the performance.
